When I went to the store the only greens they had were kale. I’ve only eaten Kale once or twice in a salad and it was not my favorite. But this is the first step in a long journey, so I will bite the bullet and try Kale in my smoothie.
Two hands full of Kale into the blender, I added fiber and omega in the form of Chia Seeds and ground Flax seeds. Next, I added dates for sweetener, frozen pineapple, and mango followed by cold water. Two minutes in the blender and I had a green thick looking drink that I was going to choke down no matter what.

I put my straw in it and prepared to gag it down.
Surprisingly it was very good. Kale, it turns out is pretty mild and anything you add to it covers the flavor. So kale works out great, not everything did but that’s another story.
OK, now we need to kick this into high gear. I ordered equipment, a rack, lights, and some seeds. We are going to grow Microgreens to supercharge these smoothies. Microgreens are between 4 and 40 times a nutrient-dense as the full-sized counterparts.
