I need to lose 100lbs

Quality of Life

I have been unable to do very many projects due to my weight. I can’t bend over without getting short of breath due to compressing my diaphragm. My Knees are giving out so I can’t get up from the ground.

Health Concerns

I had blood work done and it was a wake-up call. My fasting Glucose was over 100 and my A1C was 6.0 and my LDL was over 100. And I had High Blood Pressure.

I weighed in at 288Lbs.

Something has to CHANGE.

I knew that if I increased my fiber, it would help with my cholesterol. I needed to decrease my caloric intake for weight loss, but I needed to make it sustainable.

Green Smoothies

I decided to replace most breakfasts with a green smoothie. Ugh right, but I was surprised how good they could actually taste. I do not eat Bananas at all so I had to find recipes without banana; hard, everybody uses banana in their smoothies.

OK that’s a start, but lets bump it to the next level.

Microgreens

I have thought about Microgreens for a while now. In fact, I bought a book on the subject a year or so ago. Brent Montgomery has done lots of research into maximizing Microgreen’s growth. He does this hydroponically, that’s why I decided to purchase his book (see Link Below) and follow him on YouTube. This is the time to implement. I purchased some equipment, a rack, and some lights. I am going to increase the nutritional value of those green smoothies by using microgreens as my green base.
